DESIGN FOR A WRITING INSTRUMENT Charles L. Metzler, Palisades Park, N. J assignor to Stratford Pen Corporation, New York, N. Y., a corporation of New York Application November 1, 1947, Serial No. 142,256

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Charles L. Metzler, a citizen of the United States, residing at Palisades Park, county of Bergen, and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Writing Instrument, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, wherein:

Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a writing instrument, showing my new design; and

Fig. 2 is an end elevational view looking at the same from the bottom of Fig. 1.

The essential features of my design reside in the parts indicated by the full lines.
