UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A BEAUTY COMPACT Sumas Payne, Chicago, Ill.

Application November 20, 1947, Serial No. 142,694

Term of patent 3 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Sumas Payne, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Beauty Compacts, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

In the drawing:

Fig. 1 is a face view of a beauty compact, showing my new design.

Pig. 2 is a view in end elevation of the beauty compact shown in Fig. 1.

Fig. 3 is a view similar to Fig.2 but taken at the opposite end of the beauty compact, and

Fig. 4 is a view of the lowermost edge of the beauty compact of Fig. 1.

The back of the beauty compact is like the front, as shown.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a beauty compact, as shown and described.
