UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A WRITING INSTRUMENT Francis E. Gruber, St. Faul, Minn., assignor to Brown & Bigelow, St. Paul, Minn., a corporation of Minnesota To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Francis E. Gruber, a citizen of the United States, residing in St. Paul, county of Ramsey, and State of Minnesota, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Writing Instrument, for which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a front View of a writing instrument, showing my new design with writing point retracted.
Figure 2 is a, side View thereof with the writing point in writing position.
Figure 3 is a View similar to Figure 1 with the barrel section separated and showing the ink reservoir as it appears when the pen is open.
I claim: The ornamental design for a writing instrument, as shown.
