Be it known that l, CATHERINE OIIARA, of the city, County, and Stale oi' New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a lattern of a Ladys Polonaise, numbered 9,314; and I do hereby deelare that the engraved. prints accompanying this Speciieation convey to any one accustomed to using,r paper patterns a elear understanding of how a garment made up by the pattern will appear.
The design shows tight-litting vest-fronts, displaying a closing all the way down; looseiitting fronts that exhibit a gradual separation below the neck, display shirrings at the neel; and (liapiiig-plaits at the back ed ges, and assume a deeply-pointed ontline at their lower front corners; a close-Fittingy hack that displays plaits at its front edges alittlebelow the waist, and under-folded plaits at the lower ends of its middle three seams, and, denvending below the fronte, exhibits a Square eil'eet at its lower front corners; coat -sleeves and a sianding Collar.
