UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR AN AIRPLAN E Charles W. Butler, Leonia, N. J., assignor to The Glenn L. Martin Company, Baltimore, Md.

To all whom it may concem:

Be it known that I, Charles W. Butler, a citizen of the United States and resident of city of Leonia, county of Bergen, State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Airplane, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a fragmentary perspective view of an airplane interior, showing the passenger lounge.

Figura 2 is a fragmentary sectional view showing the passenger lounge arrangement in plan.

Figure 3 is a fragmentary sectional view showing the passenger lounge arrangement in elevation.

Figure 4 is a top plan view of the entire airplane.

The characterlstio features of my design reside in the portions, especially of the interior, shown by means of full lines in the drawing.

I claim: The ornamental design for an airplane, substantially as shown and described.
