Application March 29, 1947, Serial No. 138,044
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Ernst Engel, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Ski Suit, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
In the drawings:
Figure 1 is a front elevational view of a ski suit showing my new design;
Figure 2 is a back or rear elevational view thereof;
Figure 3 is a front elevational view of a ski suit embodying my new design showing the jacket and the upper portion of the ski pants in separated relationship; and
Figure 4 is a horizontal sectional view taken in a plane passing through line 55 of Figure 1.
The dominant feature of this design is in the waistband portion of the ski suit in which (1) the lower portion of the ski jacket is provided with spaced pairs of belt openings, (2) the upper portion of the ski pants is provided with spaced wide tunnel loops each of which is adapted to register with a pair of said belt openings, and (3) a cooperating narrow belt passing through said belt openings and tunnel loops and exposed to View along areas of the jacket between said pairs of belt openings, all as shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3.
The ornamental design for a ski suit, substantially as shown and described.
