Patented May 1, 1951 UNITED STATES PATENT OFFlCE EXPANSIBLE CHAIN John F. Sand, Newark, N. J., assignor to Gemex Company, Union N. J., a. corporation of New Jersey To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, John F. Sand, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Newark, Essex county, New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Expansible Chain, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part hereof, in which Fig. 1 is a top plan view of an expansible chain embodying my new design;

Fig. 2 is a bottom plan view thereof;

Fig. 3 is an edge view; i

Fig. 4 is a top plan view of the chain in an expanded position;

Fig. 5 is a perspective of one of the top links;

Fig. 6 is an edge view of one of the top links as viewed from line 6-6 or Fig. 1;
