Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Ernest W. Logan, a citizen of the United States, residing at Wichita, State of Kansas, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Set of Chessmen, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.

Figs. 1 to 4 inclusive are respectively front, rear, right hand side, and left hand side views of the king chessman, showing my new design;

Figs. 5 to 7 inclusive are respectively front, rear, and side views of a queen chessman, showing my new design;

Figs. 8 to 11 inclusive are respectively right hand side, rear, front, and left hand side views of a bishop chessnian, showing my new design;

Figs. 12 to 14 inclusive are respectively front, rear, and side views of a knight chessman, showing my new design;

Figs. 15 to 17 inclusive are respectively front, side, and rear views of a castle or rook chessman, showing my new design; and

Figs. 18 to 20 inclusive are respectively front, side, and rear views of a pawn chessman, showing my new design.

Where only one side View of a chessman has been illustrated the other side is complemental and practically identical in appearance.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a set of chessmen, as shown and described.
