Be it known that l, WILLIAM A. PIKE., n citizen of the United Sintes, residing nt; New York city, New York, have invented :I certain new Design for lnkstands; and I (lo declare the following to he a full, elem, and exact Ilescription ofthe invention, suoli :is will enable others skilled in the art to which it nppertains to make and use the same, reference being had be the accompanying drawing, :mil to the let,- ters and figures marked thereon, which form pai-t of this Specification.

The invention relai-es to deeigus for inkstands; and the novelty consists in the features illustrated in the accompanying dmwl ing` and hereinafter described.

The design consists in the representation of an owls head. The ears display :I iiliinientous filling.
