DESIGN: FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 16,520, dated February 16, 1886.
Application filed December 18, 1885. Serial No. 186,094. Term of patent 'I years.
To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, DAVID F. DAViDs, re siding in the city and county of New York,in the State of New York,'have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification.
The accompanying drawing forms a part of this speciiication, and is an elevation representing the bottle with a stopper ready for use.
The leading feature ofv my design consists in the combination, with a bottle having the body, shoulders, and neck hereinafter described, of two bands, one near the base and the other near the top of the body.
In the drawing, A is the lower band; B,the smooth cylindrical body; O, the upper band; D, hemispherical shoulders; E, the neck; F,
the top iiange, and G the flange of a stopper.
The bottom tand, A, is alittle wider thautne o upper band, C. The two are of about equal prominence. The height of the body is about one and a half time the diameter; but these points may be varied.
It is an important feature of my design that 25 the bands A C are at,and not semicircular or oval.
