Application December 14, 1949, Serial No. 6,619

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Antoine Gazda, a citizen of no country and a resident of Providence, State of Rhode Island, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pencil, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a front elevational view of a pencil, showing my new design;

Figure 2 is an elevational view taken at right angles to the disclosure in Fig. 1;

Figure 3 is a bottom plan view; and

Figure 4 is a top plan view.

The essential features of my design for a cylindrical pencil reside in the size of the beads and the arrangement in rows on the body of the pencil, in combination with the type of bevelling at the writing end of the pencil and the specific shape of theclip and the form of the upper cap member, all as illustrated on the drawing.

I claim: The ornamental design for a pencil, substantially as shown and described.
