Term of patent 3 years To all whom it may concern: Be it known that 1, Samuel H. Coward, Jr.,
a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Jacksonville, in the county of Duval and State of Florida, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Mail Box, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective View of a mail box, showing my new design.
Figure 2 is a transverse sectional view.
Figure 3 is a rear elevational view.
My design for a mail box is characterized by a rectangular back piece integrally formed along its top edge with a transversely curved and upwardly and forwardly extending flange. A half cylindrical, transparent front member is hinged to the back piece adjacent the lower edge thereof and is provided intermediate its ends with a. latch member in the form of a metal strap curved to correspond to the curvature of said front member and carrying at its upper end a reverse upward curve that corresponds to the curvature and overlies a portion of the upper extension of the back piece.
The ornamental design for a mail box, as shown and described.
