UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE COMBINATION SOFA AND COUCH Melvin J. Hofiman, Newton, Mass., assignor to Parkway Furniture Manufacturing Company, Lawrence, Mass., a corporation of Massachusetts To all whom it may concern.

Be it known that I, Melvin J. Hoffman, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newton, county of Middlesex, State of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Combination Sofa and Couch, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.

Figure l is a front perspective view of a combination sofa and couch showing my new design.

Figur 2 is a front perspective view of the combination sofa and couch with the ends opened, in a horizontal position.

F gure 3 is a front perspective view of the combination sofa and couch with one end opened in a horizontal position.

Figure 4 is a front perspective view of the combination sofa and couch with one end opened in a horizontal position and the other end opened at an inclined position with the backrest pillow removed.

The back and sides of the couch are plain and the rear legs are similar in construction and position to the front legs.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a combination sofa and couch, as shown and described.
