PNEUMATIC TIRE Herman T. Kraft, Akron, Ohio, assignor to The General Tire & Rubber Company, Akron, Ohio,

a corporation of Ohio Application February 16, 1952, Serial No. 18,550

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Herman T. Kraft, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Akron, in the county of Summit and State of Ohio, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pneumatic Tire, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which:

Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of a pneumatic tire, showin my new design;

Fig. 2 is an enlarged fragmentary side elevational view thereof; and

Fig. 3 is a transverse sectional view on the line 3 of Fig. 2.

The characteristic feature of my design for the tire shown resides in the combination of a ribbed and grooved zone extending from approximately half-way between the tire bead and the tire crown to adjacent the tire bead, the ribs being colored black and the grooves being colored white, the ribs being narrower than the grooves; and a relatively wide, outwardly projecting rib surrounding said ribbed and grooved zone, said rib being colored black.

The side of the tire not shown is substantially plain.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a pneumatic tire, as shown and described.
