DESIGN FOR TICKING OR SIMILAR FABRICS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,574, dated August 2 1887.
Application filed July 5. 1897. Serial No.243,450. Term nfpnicnt 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HOWARD S. KNEEDLER, aeitizen ofthe United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for Ticking or Similar Woven Fabrics (Case X,) of which the following is a specification.
My design for ticking or other woven fabrics is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in whieh- Figure 1 is a view showing the ground effect, and Fig. 2 is a view drawn to a larger scale and showing the details of the stripes.
My design comprises two styles ofstripes, A and B, alternating with each other on a ground color, G.
The stripe A comprises a central bar, a, bordered on each side by a dark stripe, 1, followed hy stripes 2 3 4, lighter in shade toward the ground.
The stripe B comprises a central light bar, b, having running through it two narrow dark lines, I). On each side of the central bar, b, are stripes 5, gradually increasing 1n shade until a light stripe, 6, is reached. The bar B has a dark borderstripe, 7, on each side.
I claim- The design for ticking or other woven fabrics, comprising altcrnatingstripesAand Bon a ground, G, the stripe A consisting of a central bar, a, bordered by dark bars 1 and shaded stripes 2 3 4, while the stripe B consists of a central light bar, I), with two dark lines and bordered by shading-stripes 5, light stripes 6, and dark border-stripes 7, all substantially as shown and set forth.
