Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D74-1) Figure I is a side elevational view of a cap for a writing instrument, showing our new design;

Figure 2 is a front elevational view thereof;

Figure 3 is a perspective view of the design;

Figure 4 is a transverse section taken on line 4-4 of Figure 2; and

Figure 5 is a transverse section taken on line 55 of Figure 2.

The ornamental design for a cap for a writing instrument, substantially as shown.
