Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of the writing instrument with the writing element in a retracted position;

Fig 4 is a top view of the writing instrument.
The horizontal shade lines appearing upon the lower portion of the barrel, the intermediate band and the push button are for the purpose of noting a uniform color in sharp contrast to the balance of the pen.
