DESIGN FOR A PEN-HOLDER BARREL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No.18,482, dated July 24, 1883.

To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that l, GEORGE H. SI-IATTUCK, acilizen of the United States, rcsidingin New York city, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a newaud original Design for PenHolder Barrels, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the aceompanyi ng drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a side elevation of my newly-designed pen-holder barrel, and Fig. 2 is an end View.
The leading features of my design consistin projections of rounded form extending in the same plane from the side of a barrel or body of cylindrical shape, one of the ends of the barrel having a rounded projection, as shown.
The barrel A is cylindrical in its general Serial No. 272,719. Term of patent 14 years.
form, and the ears B 13, which project from the cylinder, have a rounded outline, and are both arranged in the same plane, as shown. One end of the cylinder has upon one side an elongation of aronndcd form, as represented in the drawings.
I claim- A design for a pen-holder barrel herein shown and described, the same consisting of a cylinder-barrel having a rounded elongation at one end and rounded lateral projections at the side,snbslantially as shown in the annexed drawings.
