DESIG N FOR A BOTTLE-STOPPER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,586, dated January 14, 1890.

Application filed November 6, 1889- Serial No. 329,447. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that LEDWIN L. SMITH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Portland, in the county of Cumberland and State of Maine, have invented and produced a new and originalDesign for Glass Bottle-Stoppers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawin gs, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a front or face view of a bottlestopper embodied in my new design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.

My design consists of a bottle-stopper the upper or handle portion of which has the form of a pair of corrugated bivalve-shells placed face to face.

I claim The herein-described design fora bottlestopper, consisting of the upper or handle portion, which has the form of a pair of conventionalized bivalve-shells placed face to face, the lower or stopper end being conical ortapering,the conical portion being united to the handle portion by a connecting part which is concave in longitudinal section, substantially as shown.
