United States Patent 0 "me 191,611

Patented Mar. 3, 1964 HIGH FIDELITY LOUD-SPEAKER CABINET Peter Quay Yang, New York, N.Y., assignor to Audio Dynamic Corporation, New Milford, Conn.

Continuation of design applications Ser. Nos. 71,815, 71,816, and 71,817, Sept. 24, 1962. This application May 31, 1963, Ser. No. 75,261

Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D26-14) -URE 1.

FIGURE 5 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of a high fidelity loud-speaker cabinet in accordance with the invention.

FIGURE 6 is a front view of the cabinet shown in FIGURE 5.

FIGURE 7 is a top view of the cabinet shown in FIG- URE 5.

FIGURE 8 is a side view of the cabinet shown in FIG- URE 5.

FIGURE 9 is a perspective view of a third embodiment of a high fidelity loud-speaker cabinet in accordance with the invention.

FIGURE 10 is a front view of the cabinet shown in FIGURE 9.

FIGURE 11 is a top view of the cabinet shown in FIG- URE 9.

FIGURE 12 is a side view of the cabinet shown in FIGURE 9.

The dominant feature of my design carried through the three embodiments is that wherein the front portion of the loud-speaker cabinet is of reduced size thereby giving Des. 197,611

PAGE 3 an illusion of lightness and delicacy still further emphasized by the narrow leading edges of the recessed front panel. In addition the first embodiment of FIGURES l through 4 incorporates the specific feature of the recessed groove or band between the smaller front portion and the rear portion. The second embodiment of FIG- URES 5 through 8 omits the recessed groove of the first embodiment. The third embodiment shown in FIGURES 9 through 12 likewise omits the recessed groove or band and incorporates a divider across the front panel better proportioning the front panel in the event the design is incorporated in a taller cabinet such as a floor or console model.

This application is a continuation of applications Serial Nos. 71,815, 71,816, and 71,817, filed on September 24, 1962, abandoned subsequent to filing this application.

I claim: 1
