DESIGN FOR A PADDLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,161, dated September 23, 1890.

Application filed July 14:, 1390. Serial No.358,748. Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it'known that I, GEORGE RAIBERT, J r., residing in Louisville, in the county of J eiferson and State of Kentucky, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Paddles, of which the following is a specification, referencebeinghadto theaccompanyingdrawings', forming a part thereof, in which- Figure 1 is a face View of a paddle showing my design. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section of the same.

The leading feature of my design consists in the representation of a blade the contour of which is oval in form, and the representation of circular perforations arranged upon the said representation of the blade in a manner hereinafter referred to.

Referring to the drawings, A is a representation of the blade, which is essentially elliptical or oval in contour, and within the as at c, and between the elliptical representation c and the representation A of the blade the lines forming the contour of the representation C approach each other, as shown at o.

\Vhat I claim is- The design for a paddle, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings.
