Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D74-17) FIG. 1 is a front elevational view of a writing instrument embodying my new design;

FIG. 2 is a side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a rear elevational view; and,

FIG. 4 is a top plan view.

The dominant features of my design reside in the combination on the writing instrument disclosed of a transparent forward barrel section having a scored appearance on the inner surface thereof located above the writing tip and an opaque plastic cap section having an integrally molded plastic clip formed thereon, all as shown in solid lines on the drawing.

The ornamental design for a writing instrument, as shown and described.
