SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,575, dated March 10, 1891.
Application filed February 10, 1891. Serial No. 381,000. Term oflmteut '7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
lie it known that I, JAMES G. \VILSUN, :1 subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing, at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gentlemeus Chairs; and I do hereby declare the following to be a. full, elem, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertnins to make and use the same.
I will refer to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification, and in which- Figure 1 is a perspective of a chair, showing my design; and Fig. 2, a side elevation of such chair.
Similar letters denote like parts in both figures.
This chair is especially intended to be used by gentlemen, the sitter facing the elbowrest with his legs astride the base of said rest.
The leading features of my design consist in the laterally-overhnnging sides of the elbow-rest and in the horizontal extensions of the seat beneath said sides.
