D7417) FIG. 1 is a side elevational view of a ball point pen showing our new design, the opposite side being substantially the same in appearance;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational View thereof;

FIG. 3 is an enlarged fragmentary front elevational view of the lower section of the ball point pen shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, this view showing the new and ornamental effect obtained by the combination of an opaque axial portion with a virtually transparent outer portion in such lower section.

The essential features of our design reside in the portions shown in solid lines on the drawing.
