DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,833, dated June 16, 1891.
Application filed April 20, 1391, Serial No. 339fl35. Tenn of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM BOHON LIL- LARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Orleans, in the parish of Orleans and State of Louisiana, have invented and produced a new and originalDesign fora Bottle; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a front 'View of bottle, Fig. 2 is a side view of bottle, Fig. 3 is a rear View of bottle, and Fig. 4 is a bottom View of bottle, these views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in -the front of bottle, presenting, as it were, a convex half of a circular-shaped bott1e,while the rear of bottle is concave its entire length from neck to bottom of bottle, while bottom or base of bottle is crescent-shaped.
A is the front of bottle, which is circular in its general contour, and B is rear of bottle, which is concave. Within the bottle and forming the interior surfaces of the front and rear are thickinclines, giving an appearance of solidity.
What I claim is The design for abottle, as herein shown and described, consisting of the body of the bottle convexed upon one side and concaved upon the opposite side, the convex and concave surfaces extending from the neck to the bottom of the bottle, substantially as set forth.
In. testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
I WILLIAM B. LILLARD.
