DESIGN FOR A HAT OR CAP.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,178, dated November 17, 1891. Application filed October 26, 1891. Serial No. 409,913. Term of patent 7 years To (0% whom it may concern:

3e it known that I, JULIUS ADLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Jersey City, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for lists and Caps, of which the following is a. full, clear, and exact description.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both the views.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the design, part being broken out; and Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same.

The leading feature of the design consists of a pln-ited top A, with a button 13 located in the center, and plaitcd inclined sides 0, tor initiating at the lower edge in a plain band D. The top and side plnits nreformed into a double Orv-shaped beveled plate E at their junction, and a, like beveled plnit F is formed at the junction of the lowermostedge of the side 0 with the baud D. The side 0 is inclined upwardly and outwardly, while the top A extends horizontally, or nearly so.
