DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
T0 all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, CHARLES E. GAULINE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore city, in the State of Maryland, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the aceompanying drawings, forminga part thereof.
My present design relates to bottles or jars; and it consists in the particular shape and configuration shown in the drawings. The lower portion of the bottle, extending about half the height thereof, is cylindrical, and above said portion the bottle is of greater diameter, with four sides removed to form flatsnrfaces elliptic in outline, and between said flat surfaces are rounded corners.
Figure 1 is a perspective, and Fig. 2 represents a vertical section.
A indicates the lower part of the bottle or 20 jar, which is cylindrical and extends about half the height of the bottle; B, the enlarged portion, having flat elliptic surfaces 0 and rounded corners D. Above said portion the form may be that of a bottle or jar in the 25 formation of a neck.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a bottle, substantially as herein shown and described.
