DESIGN FOR A CIGAR AND MATCH HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,991, dated November 15, 1892.
Application filed September 22.1892- Serial No. 446,626. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, HARRY R. H. NICHOLAS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Combined Cigar and Match Holder; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full,clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being, had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters of reference marked there0n,which form a part. of this specification.
Said drawing represents in elevation a cigar and match holder, showing my design and is deemed sufficient to fullyillustrate the same.
The leading feature of my design consists in a bottle-shaped vessel apparently inclosed in a tub-like receptacle.
In the drawing, 0 indicates the top, having the rope-like ornamentation shown; a, the cover for the central part a; I), the tub-like receptacle having the handles (Z. and the eylindrical surface of the receptacle represents staves (l, ornamented by bands or hoops (F, the whole upper half of the design representing the shape of a bottle and the lower half a tub-like receptacle, as shown.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a cigar and match holder, herein shown and described.
