DESIGN FOR A SlDlNG-PLATE.

SPECTFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,609, dated July 11, 1893.

Application filed October 4.1892. Serial No. 447,824. Term of patent 14 years.

lie ih known that I, llIIIiIll A. DESLAL'RI- ERS, a citizen of the llnited States, residing at Paul, Ramsey county, Minnesota, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design fora Sheet-Metal Siding-Plate for Buildings, of which the following is a Specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawi ugs, illustrating the saine, in Which- Figure l is a plan View, and Fig. 2 is a Side elevation of the plate.

The siding plate isof rectangular form, and the leading features of the design, with which it is ornamented are, an irregular raised surface covered by rounded, projections 3, and resembling a pebbled surface. This surface is subdivided into diilerentJ sized oblongs by means of the ridges 3, having sloping sides and a flat top, as shown best in Fig. 2. The

edgeof theplatesurrounding Lhe ornamented surface, has a similar ridge or bead i. Mitered with and projecting outward from this are the ends 5, ol' ridges of similar form.

The general appearance and el'feet of the design are, of a series ol' pebble surfaced oblong blocks laid in a wall to break joints in representation of irregular or broken ashlar with a ridge or raised line of mortar between.

What I claim isn The design for a Siding plate as herein shown and deseri bed.
