DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD M. CONE, acitizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a side, and Fig. 2 is a front elevation of a bottle showing my design, these two views being deemed sufficient to fully illustrate the design.
The leading feature of my design consists in a bottle having a bone-shaped body.
In said drawings, a indicates the mouth of the bottle, which is cylindrical in shape. b is the bone-shaped body and c the fiat base or bottom. The shape of the body resembles that of one of the long bones of a higher animal, such as the 0s femoris or 051 humeri of the human body or corresponding bones in the higher animals lower in the scale than man.
At the base of the bottle, the condyloid protuberances, d, are horizontally flat when Viewed in side elevation. At the front of the body of the femur-shaped part, the same is decorated with figures of a skull and cross bones e.
hat I claim is- The design for a bottle herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing I have hereunto set my hand this 16th day of September, 1893.
