DESIGN FOR A CENTRlFUGAL-MACHINE CASING.
To all whom it mriy concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY B. WEIPER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Durand, in the county of Pepin and State of Wiscrnsin, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Casings of Centrifugal Machines, of which the following is a specification, referen 2e hein g had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a casing embodying my new design. E Lg. 2 is an inverted plan view; and Fig. 3 is avertical sectional view of the body.
The leading feature of my design CODSiSti in the casing having the novel configuration shown, the same being circular as viewed in plan, its sides rounding vertically on convex lines except at its upper end, which is contracted and presents concave lines at its exterior, such concave lines merging into the convex lines below. Further, the bottom of the casingis raised at the center and for its major portion above the lower edge of the convex sides, and presents at its center a pendent projection, and the outer edge of the bottom ranges diagonally upward and inward from the lower edge of the sides of the casing.
I claim- The design for the casing of a centrifugal machine, herein shown and described.
