DESIGN FOR A SPOON.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,528, dated August 6, 1895.

- Application filed June 18,1895. Serial No. 553,233- Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern/.-

Be it known that I, GEORGE P. TILTON, of Newburyport, in the county of Essex and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoons, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which Figure 1 represents the obverse of a spoon embodying my design; Fig. 2, the reverse, and Fig. 3 a cross-section on line 3 3 of Fig.1.

The leading feature of my design consists in the bowl divided into a plurality of surfaces ranging lengthwise of the bowl and in planes at an angle to each other.

In the drawings, A is the bowl and B the handle, which may have any suitable configuration 0r ornamentation. The surfaces or a a of the bowl, as will appear best from Fig. 3, are in planes at an angle to each other, and, as will be seen from Figs. 1 and 2, the said surfaces follow the longitudinal curves of the bowl and are narrow both at the point and inner end of the bowl.

I claim- The design for a spoon herein shown and described.
