DESIGN FOR A CARPET-BEATER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,894, dated April 14, 1896. Application filed January 23, 1896. Serial No. 576,599. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. UPTON, of Columbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have inventedacertain newand useful Design for Carpet-Beaters; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use it, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, which forms part of this specification.

This invention pertains to a design for carpet-heaters, which is fully illustrated by the accompanying drawing, in which the heater is shown in perspective.

The design consists of the handle A and the plurality of tines B of waved Outline formed with eyes or loops C at their outer ends, and twisted together at D, where they are secured to the handle.

Having thus fully described my invention, whatII claim, and desire to secure by Design Letters Patent, is
