DESIGN FOR A KITCHEN-CABINET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,184, dated. October 13, 1896. Application filed September S, 1896. erial No. 604,801x Term of patent 14 years.
To all whmn it' may concern:
Be it known that I, J AMEs WILLIAM BUR- NETT,a citizen of the United States of America, residng at IIuntington, in the county of Cabell and State of VVest Virginia, have invented and produeed a new and original Design for Kitchen-Cabinets; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the aceompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The aecoinpanying drawing is a perspecti ve view of a kitchen'cabinet made in aecord anee with my design.
The Gabinet is mounted on legs 01' supports a a, the side edges of which are outwardly at their upper ends and inward at their lower ends, the Curved portion being connected by a straight portion, as shown. The lower part of the cabinet proper is made up of plain boards, and the forward en ds of the side pieees are provided with reedings b. The front of said side pieces of the cabinet is provided with two panels e c, the edges of which present moldings, as shown.
The front of the Gabinet has a panel (Z, and on each side of this panel are drawers e e, the front boards of which are provided with vertieal and transverse reedings. Above the drawers e and panel cl said front is provided with Vertical and transverse reedings g and g', between which is a panel f.
It will be noted that the front of the cabinet does not extend as high as the sides, and consequently the swingin g top has an apron 71,. This swinging top and part to which it is hinged are provided with moldings '11 The general configuration and ornam'entafion of the cabinet are as shown in the accompanying drawing.
