LOUIS lVOLFSIIEUlI, OF NEW' YORK, N. Y.
D-ESIGN FOR A DISPLAY-TRAY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,387, dated December 8, 1896.
Application filed July 25, 1896. Serial No. 600,557. Term of patent 7 years.
Be it known that I, Louis WoLFsHEIM, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Jewelers Display-'l`rays, of which the following is a sp'ecication.
The essential feature of my design resides in the configuration of the tray, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure l is a plan View, and Fig. 2 a transverse sectional elevation, on the line2 2, Fig. l; and 3 is a longitudinal sectional elevation on the line 3, Fig. l.
In the drawings, the letter A indicates the tray.
The distinguishing characteristics of the design reside in the configuration or dispo sition of the side and bottom pieces and ends.
The side pieces B are disposed in one direction perpendicularly to their base, and longil tudinally they are curved, the curves being oppositely disposed and merging into each other at the ends to form sharply-defined, vertieally-disposed, and curved angular ends C. Each of the side pieces B are formed of sections of cylinder-shells of the saine radius, their axes being opposed. A
The bottom piece D of the tray, which joins the side pieces at their lower edges, is flat and longitudinally disposed, and as to its sides is concentric with the side pieces B.
Having described iny invention, I claim- The design for a display-tray, substantially as herein shown and described.
Signed at the city, county, and State of York this 24th day of July, 1896.
