DESIGN FOR A MESSAGE-BOX.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AUGUSTUS A. \VELLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Port Jervis, in the county of Orange and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Message-Boxes, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a message-box embodying the features of my design; and Fig. 2 is a vertical section through the box, taken on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
The invention relates to a design for boxes of that character in which messages are placed for collection and in which it is desirable that the messages be made Visible.
The back 10 of the box is perpendicular, and the sides 11 are made to approximate the shape of a right-angle triangle with the base uppermost. The form of the sides imparts an inclination to the front 12 in a downward and rearward direction from the
