DESIGN FOR A WHlST-TRAY.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,278, dated June 29, 1897.

Application filed April 19. 1897. Serial No. 632,871. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, \VALTER (JOLES, a citizen of the United States, residing at (Jincinnati,county of Hamilt0n,and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for \Vhist-Trays, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference bein g had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.

In the drawing the figure is a perspective View of my whist-tray, showing my new design.

As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of the design consists of a square tray or board A, provided with eight compartments or recesses for the reception of eighthands of whist of thirteen cards each,the compartments or recesses being arranged in pairs, any two consecutive pairs being at right angles to the others in the direction of their length.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a whist-tray, substantially as herein shown and described.
