B. R. PAINE.
No. 28,687. Patented May 24, 1898,
INVENTOR By Z298 ATTORNEYJ" UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
BENNETT ROBY PAINE, OF HAMDEN JUNCTION, OIIIO.
DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPEOIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,687, dated. May 24, 1898. Application filed March 14, 1898. Serial No- 673,873. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, BENNETT ROBY PAINE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hamden Junction, in the county of Vinton and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part thereof, and in which- Figure 1 is a side view of a bottle, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a top or plan view of the same, and Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken on the line as a: of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a body A, which is triangular in horizontal cross-section and hollow or tubular, having exteriorly-fiat and vertically-parallel sides a extending to a flat top a, forming a horizontal plane, from which extends a cylindrical vertical neck 1) with straight parallel sides. Said body has a flat bottom a, between which and the flat horizontal top a the vertical parallel sides a extend. The sides of the body thus conjointly form a triangle in cross-section having fiat and parallel terminal ends. At the top of the cylindrical vertical neck I) is a horizontal flat flange b, projecting laterally from the vertical parallel sides of said neck, as shown, and having a straight peripheral edge.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a bottle, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name, in presence of the subscribing witnesses, this 10th day of March, 1898.
BENNETT ROBY IAINE.
