Application filed February 5, 1898. Serial No. 669,277. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FREDERICK 00D, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, England, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Snap-Hook, of which the following is a speeifieation, referenoe being had to the accompanying drawing, which illustrates in perspective a snap-hook embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design is the S- like curvature of the two interlocked arms 0 C, which produces, in connection with the curved tie-piece A, a contour somewhat like the numeral 8, having a larger elongated oval loop and a smaller nearly-circular loop, the
latter loop produced by the shorter curved extremities c c of the arms C C. At the point where the two arms cross one has in it an aperture D and the other has recesses E and lateral projections e c.
Having thus described my invention, I claim- The design for a snap-hook substantially as herein shown and described.
In witness whereof I have hereunto signed my name, this 30th day of December, 1897, in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
