DESIGN FOR A CHANNEL-IRON.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,864, dated June 14, 1898. Application filed October 30, 1897. Serial No. 656,968. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that 1, JAMES II. BAKER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Allegheny, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Channel- Iron, of which the following is a specification.

In the accompanying drawing, which makes part of this specification, the figure is an isonietrical perspective of a channel-iron for railroad-couplings.

In the view presented, A A are flanges extending longitudinally along the edges of the channeLiron. B is the web uniting said flanges. Said flanges A A are duplicates of each other and are curved in cross-section on
