DESIGN FOR A LOAF OF BREAD.

SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 29,273, dated August 23, 1898.

Application filed July 13, 1898. Serial No. 685,880. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that LOHARLEs W.KOLB, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania,

5 have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Loaf of Bread, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure l is a perspective view of a loaf of bread, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the same.

The leading feature of my design resides in the unitary article the subject of the drawings and description.

My design consists of an elongated loaf A, slightly curved on its bottom, as at a, and having tapering rounded ends, as b, and a curved top 0 of a slightly-shorter radius than 20 that of the bottom a.

The lowerportion B of the body of the loaf 'e, as illustrated, a shallow depression being formed at the line of the slit.

Having described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, 1s

The design for a loaf of bread substantially as herein shown and described.
