DESIGN FOR A CUSHION FOR SOLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,749, dated November 29, 1898.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM I. BUNKER, of La Grange, Cook county, Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cushions for Soles, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a plan View of the cushion of a shoe, presenting my design; Fig. 2, the same looking at it from the bottom, and Fig. 3 a longitudinal sectional View taken on line 3 of Fig. 1.
In the drawings, A is the cushion, O the ribs of the cushion, and D vertical cells or spaces formed by the ribs.
The leading feature of my design consists I 5 of a sole provided with a cushion having ribs WVILLIAM I. BUNKER.
