UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.

ALLEN ll. GILLESPIE AND GRANT IIUGHEL, OF ANDERSON, INDIANA.

DESIGN FOR A BRACKET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,885, dated December 27, 1898. Application fil d November 19, 1898. Serial No. 696,941- Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, ALLEN H. GILLESPIE and GRANT HUGHEL, citizens of the United States, residing at Anderson, in the county of Madison and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Bracket, of which the following is a specification.

Figure 1 is a view in side'elevation of our shade-bracket, and Fig. 2 a plan view of same.

Similar letters of reference indicate like parts throughout both views of the drawings.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of our design consists of a body A, having the square-cornered edges ab and 01) at right angles to each other and the lower front corner of the body rounded to form an approximate quarter-circle from a to c. The top edge ab, approximately midway of its length, has the slot G, which extends 2o diagonally toward the front for approximately half of its length and is thence projected ven tically in a downward direction to its end. The edge ob has the rearwardly-projccting In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals, at Anderson, Indiana, this 29th day of October, A. D. 1898.
