SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,628, dated April 25, 1899.

To all whom t my concern:
le it known that we, FREDERICK I). VAN NORMAN and BYRON F. STOWELL, citizens of the United States of America, residing at Springlield, in the county of Hampden and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Metal Plate, of which the following is a specification, reference beinghad to the accoxnpalo nying drawing, forming part thereof, which consists of one ligure only, showing in plan view a surface having our new design applied thereto.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or inatei-iai feature of the design consists of a series of undulating or \vave1ike bands or stripes o, extending in substantially parallel lines across the surface of a metal plate A in one direction, said bands or stripes being;
2o separated by substantially uniform spaces l),
and a second series of bands or stripes d, having similar undnlations and separated by claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
