OLAF ROET), OF IIAGAN, MINNESOTA.

DESIGN FOR A BAG-HOLDER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,844, dated May 23, 1899.

Application filed April 26, 1899. Serial No. 714,587. Term of patent 14 years.

To all wlwn't it may enom-71 Be it known that I, OLAF RGED, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hagan, in the county of Chippewa and State of Minnesota, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Bag-Holders; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

The invention has relation to a new and original design for bag-holders; and it consists of a holder of the configuration shown in the accompanying drawings, in which-- Figure 1 is a perspective View. Fig. 2 is a side View, and Fig. 3 is a top plan View.

The leading feature of the design comprises the curved arms 1, the ends of which project laterally and toward each other, said arms extending downwardly and parallel, as shown at 2, thence outwardly, as shown at 3, thence upwardly, as shown at 4, and then down wardly, as shown at 5, where they join.

The in vention is designed to hold the mouths of bags open when filling, and the holder is to be hung on the bin or other receptacle. The bag is passed up between the arms of the holder and the mouth of the bag is folded out over the arms. This makes a secure fastening and gives equal strain all over the mouth of the bag.

\Vhat I claim is The design for a bag-holder, as herein shown and described.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in presence of two subscribing witnesses.

OLAF ROED.
