lle it known that` I, titxnmcs J. Annie rELn'r, a citizen ot` the United States, resid- 3' ing atthe eity of New York, county of New York, and State ot` New York, have invented nnd produced a new and original Design for a Pleite or Similar Article, of whieh the lollowing is a specification, reference beinghail to the accompanying drawings, forming n. part hereof, like letters referring to like parts in eaeli ligure of the same.
ln the said drawings, Figure 1 is a plan view of n plate with my design placed thereon. Fig. 2 is a medial vertical section of the seine.
The ornamentation npon the plate is as follows:
A Consists of two parts A", each resembling a liorn-of-plenty crossed near their smaller and inner ends.
consists of :i Central panel 13' with ornamental border and a s zriliins heed in the center. From the lower part, of the panel, on either side, proceed n series of lenfed ornaments Il?, extending" on enrved lines and ierminatintr in volutes l. l-`ro|n Lliesztl ornaments projet't at` intervals stems IVl hearing flowers.
The two ornaments A and I3 are alternated to form a eirenlar border or wreath, while in the centerof the eirele is an ornament C, eonsisting of a central panel (l, having an ornemental border and scrolls in the center and surrounded by a wreath eonsisting.; of twoleal'ed stems "l, united at the bottom, extending iipwardlyaround the sides of the panel, and terminating above the saine in flowers Ci.
This design may beapplied toert ieles other than plates.
