DESIGN FOR A FILAMENT FOR INCANDESCENT ELECTRIC LIGHTS.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,396, dated March 27, 1900.

Application filed February 23, 1900. Serial No. 6,309. Term of patent 14 years.

To a]! whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, SAMUEL B. llussELMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of W'orcester, in the county of \Vorccster and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Filament for Incandescent Electric Lights, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, in which- Figure l is a top or plan VlOW of the filament of my design, and Fig. 2 is a front elevational view of the same.

The leading or material feature of my design consists of the particular shape or configuration of the filament of my invention.

Referring to the drawings, (1 represents the substantially star-shaped coated wire constituting the particular shape or configuration of the filament, the two parallel arms or members of which at a and a are parted and provided with two angular projecting fingers or arms I) and b.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, isl The design for a filament for an incandescent electric light, sn bstantially as shown and described.
