Be it known that 1, JOHN SLOANE MEADE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, Erie county, New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Portable Electric-Lamp Bodies, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is an elevation of my invention. Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the same. Fig. 3 is a top end view. Fig. 4 is a butt-end View.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material. feature of my design consists of a cylindrical body A, which at its upper end is reduced conically, as shown at B, until it forms a neck 0. From the neck 0 the outline takes the form of an ellipse, the major Serial No. 6,687. Term of patent 14 years.
