Be it known that 1, JAMES L. CAMPBELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at \Vest Elizabeth, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, hav'einvented and produced anew and useful Design forGrates, of which the following is a specification.
Figure 1 is a front or face View of a grate, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a vertical section of the same on the line 2 :2, Fig. 1. Fig. 8 is a transverse section on the line 3 3, Fig. 1.
As shown in said drawings, the leading and essential feature of my new design is a grate having a curved top 1, with a swell or rounded margin 2 surrounding the top and sides, flaring inside walls 3, a slightly-inclined top 4, a reverscly-inclined bottom 5, and an inclined back JAMES L. CAMPBELL.
