To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JAMES T. PINNELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Vienna, in the county of Maries and State of 5 Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Pencils, of which the following is a specification.

My invention is a design for pencils.

The accompanying drawing illustrates a [O fierspective view of the design.

The reference-n umeral 1 designates the pen-- cil,- having at its upper end a tip consisting of two heads joined back to back and surmounted by a hat 2, having a brim 3.
